Our team brings decades of experience in tax advisory, operations management, assurance, and client services. We are highly equipped to handle clients with domestic and cross-border requirements due to our vast experience in the Canadian, US and other international markets.

In addition to our leadership group, we have a dedicated team of more than 15 professionals who work whole-heartedly to deliver credible and professional services to our clients. This also helps us to build long-term relationships with our clients.

Leadership Team

Haroon Khan, CPA, CA (Canada), CPA (Illinois)

Partner

Haroon Khan is a seasoned tax professional having more than 15 years of experience in public accounting. He has also served as a Partner at large multinational firms before founding his own practice in 2019.

Haroon recognized a significant gap within the tax profession during the early part of his career. Most practitioners either specialize in domestic Canadian taxation or the international tax services but not both. This motivated him to develop deep expertise in both areas in 2010.

The dual expertise helps him to advise large multinational businesses alongside the Canadian-controlled private corporations regarding complex domestic and cross-border taxation matters. He also advises cross-border individuals on their U.S. and Canadian tax matters.

Haroon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada and a licensed U.S. CPA in the State of Illinois. He has passed all the three levels of CPA Canada’s prestigious and one of the most comprehensive tax specializations in the country (CICA In-depth).

Haroon also serves as an instructor for CPA Canada programs including Professional Development seminars, the Professional Education Program (PEP) and the CICA In-depth Tax Program. He was a lecturer at the Schulich School of Business at York University, where he taught both MBA and BBA students.

 

Babar A. Khan, MSc (Oxford), MBA (Schulich), CPA (US), CPA (Canada)

Consulting Partner

Babar Khan is an experienced cross-border tax professional having 15 years of experience in the Canadian and US tax advisory and compliance services. He deals with expatriates, international business travelers, high-net worth individuals, owner-managed businesses having cross-border operations.

Babar is known for his expertise related to complex tax regulations such as translating them into clear and practical guidance for clients dealing with international tax obligations.

Babar has personal interest in education and mentoring besides professional tax advisory work. He has done teaching at undergraduate and graduate level at the Schlich School of Business over the last ten years.

He has participated in the professional development initiatives with Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario as well as the advisory panels to support academic and professional programs.

Babar has a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Oxford, an MBA from Schulich School of Business and BBA from University of Toronto. He serves on the board of directors of Infinitum Education, a UK-based EdTech agency as a dual US and Canadian CPA.

Ayub Khan Managing Director – Client & Operations Services

Ayub Khan has more than 20 years of experience as a leader in operations management, client relations and organizational oversight. During his career, he has built efficient operational frameworks, managed teams and ensured consistent service delivery within fast-paced professional environments.

Ayub has detailed expertise in workflow optimization, systems management and service coordination owing to his years of experience in the United States as operational functions. He has experience dealing with multidisciplinary teams, streamlining their internal procedures alongside operational strategies for enhancing efficiency and client satisfaction.

Ayub has a leadership role at the firm, taking care of the operations and client services functions with strong focus on structure, responsiveness and accountability. He has closely worked with the internal teams to ensure efficient procedures and deadlines for reliable and clear support for clients.

His leadership and operational expertise have a major role in supporting the firm’s commitment to deliver professional, organized and client-focused services.

Clare Moxley, CAA, EA

Consulting Partner

Clare Moxley, based in Kimberley, British Columbia has an experience stretching over two decades in the preparation of individual tax returns across the US and Canada. Her cross-border expertise addresses complex tax compliance matters in a detailed and accurate manner.

Clare is an Enrolled Agent authorized to practice before the IRS (Internal Revenue Service). This enables her to represent taxpayers directly in matters regarding the IRS. Her deep understanding of US and Canadian tax systems helps in offering structured guidance to individuals dealing with international tax reporting and compliance requirements.

Her diligence and expertise make her an asset for clients dealing with the difficulties of cross-border taxation.

 

Michael Case, CPA, LLM (Tax), MBA

External Advisor

Michael Case is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a licensed public practitioner having more than 15 years of experience in public and industry practice. He has worked in assurance, advisory and financial reporting.

Michael has done a Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from Osgoode Hall Law School alongside an MBA. He is a licensed practitioner of public accounting in British Columbia and Ontario.

Being an External Advisor to the firm, Michael leads assurance-related engagements referred by our team including review and audit engagements. He has expertise serving a wide range of industries and organizational structures including private corporations reporting under IFRS, ASPE, non-profit organizations, financial services and charitable entities.

His in-depth experience ensures that clients get high-quality assurance and advisory services for meeting rigorous professional standards.

Seher Khan Director of People, Technology & Client Services

Seher Khan has done BBA from the University of Toronto, bringing a strong blend of business management alongside technology and organizational leadership to the firm.

She has also done certifications in management and IT that helps her align people, software systems and procedures within a growing professional organization.

Being the Director of People and monitoring technology and client services, Seher oversees human resource functions, technological infrastructure and initiatives enhancing the overall client experience. She has played an important role in optimizing workflows, integrating technology-driven solutions with a seamless collaboration between clients and teams.

Her expertise in operations and technology enables the firm to execute processes effectively, securing digital systems and maintaining a high standard service delivery. Seher is dedicatedly working to build a collaborative workplace culture for improving operational systems to support long-term growth.
